This antique Cameo from the Edwardian era depicts a beautiful woman with petite features, with visual emphasis on the veil with flowers waves atop her head. This piece is of special interest as the woman wearing veil which is rare to find in most cameo collections.
Another unique feature is the high polish finish Carnelian shell applied to the background, which contrasts quite nicely with the cream colored, matte finish portrait. The 800 Silver frame that features Marcasite stone accents as well as bright cut engraving details. Marked “800” silver at backside. Loop at backside for use as a pendant.
